About Us
We co-directed, shot, and edited “All the Way Home” as our master’s thesis film at the UC Berkeley Graduate School of Journalism over nine months in 2006-07. We were very green when it came to the military when we started, and found that we shed many prejudices as we went along – just as the soldiers and marines we spent time with shed some prejudices about Berkeley students! We found a great willingness among the people we met to help us tell the story of the psychological wounds of war. We were most struck by the unique relationship between Vietnam veterans and new vets of Iraq, forged from the common experience of bringing the war home.
